Grigorios Beligiannis is a Professor of Intelligent Information Systems at the University of Patras. Now he is Associate Professor having the chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece. He is also at the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He is teaching at the Interdisciplinary Programme of Post Graduate Studies ‘‘Environment & Development’’ of the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests are in Renewable Energy, Exergy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Development. He is the Head of the Research Laboratory “Availability of Energy Systems Supplied from Renewable Sources”, Electrical Engineering Faculty, Power System Department, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi.
